OK, can someone tell me why there is a CORKBOARD ad under all my images???????
(you can see it before you log in)

Advertising-on-my-images!.jpg

I don't recall authorizing anyone to use my images for ADVERTISING!

What is this all about?????

Patiently waiting a response.

That one of the CN tower is epic. Like the one of the models as well. All very nice images.

Thank you. The CN Tower shot was taken about 20-60 minutes after a downpour of rain. It was cold while it was raining, then turn hot and humid very quickly. You could see the mist coming off the ground and plants. This was a chance shot, I was turning to head back to the car and saw this vision through the trees. Mist, the trees framing the image... it all looked surreal. The photo turned out pretty good, but much better in B&W than colour.

Finally managed to capture a half decent image of a Barn Swallow. They have eluded me for a couple of years now.

Taken with my Nikon D800 and Nikon Nikkor 400mm f3.5, hand held. 7:30 am or so.

A few more of my favourite images over the last two weeks or so:

The OLD MILL at ELORA, Ontario Canada. This old mill is being turned into a SPA/HOTEL for the well healed. Beautiful little town. Taken with my Nikon Nikkor 16-35mm lens.

This is an old TTC Street Car that has seen better days. I took this with my Nikkon 50mm G at the Halton County Radial Railway Museum. Had a great ride on a closed loop in a vintage 1911 TTC Street Car! Fun visit.

I treated this one in NIK Vintage Sepia.

A couple of my favourite Nature Shots over the last few weeks. These were taken with my Nikon Nikkor 400mm f3.5 lens. The Osprey is take at 400mm.

The Red Necked Grebes family was taken with a Nikon Nikkor 301 TC attacked to the 400mm.

Beautiful images, and only reinforces my desire to get a D800, unfortunately in a bout of alcohol fuelled generosity I promised my wife a ring the same value as the next camera body I buy. Woops!
But looking at photos like these just make me more determined, keep posting.

And now, something completely different for me.... Portrait work. This is where the D800 simply excel's!!

Taken with the Nikon Nikkor 105mm lens, the Nikon Sb-910 as the main and the Younguo as the fill.

A few more of my favourite Nikon D800 Images! This camera simply ROCKS!

These two images are taken with my 70-300mm Nikon Zoom Lens. I have not used this lens in a while, but is certainly does continue to perform nicely! It is my go-too lens when I don't know what to take.

Thank you, Tami Jo!

Up at 7:00am this morning to head down to the Lake. The current local celebrities are the nesting Red Neck Grebes and they did not disappoint!

These were shot with my Nikkor 300mm f4 and the Nikkor 1.7 EII Teleconverter... hand held. Nice to not have to deal with weight and a tripod.

Something a little bit different. I was at the Guild Inn Gardens this weekend. This is an old estate where the owners were patrons of the arts, helped starving artists and tried to preserve some of Toronto's landmark buildings after the developers got their hands on them. This is but a small sample of the facades on the estate. Open to the public... free admission.
