Stolen photos from this site

BUT I figure that it would make it a little easier to prove if my real name was attached to this account so I have changed my user name to add my Real name Tracsoft - Don Kuykendall.

Actually, Don, I think that's a pretty good idea. . . especially in terms of finding you or your work through search engines and for ranking. I've started doing the same thing on sites where I have to give a username other than email. I've used "ohkphoto" for so long, it's actually a "keyword" on G+.

Folks, the bigger thief may be GOOGLE!!!!

This is their SERVICE POLICY. Unless I read this incorrectly, if you use GOOGLE IMAGES to search to see who is STEALING THEM, it could be GOOGLE!!!

Their policy is a COPYRIGHT GRAB!!!! I could be wrong, but read this right off their site!!!

Your Content in our Services

Some of our Services allow you to submit content. You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights that you hold in that content. In short, what belongs to you stays yours.
When you upload or otherwise submit content to our Services, you give Google (and those we work with) a worldwide license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, create derivative works (such as those resulting from translations, adaptations or other changes we make so that your content works better with our Services), communicate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display and distribute such content. The rights you grant in this license are for the limited purpose of operating, promoting, and improving our Services, and to develop new ones. This license continues even if you stop using our Services (for example, for a business listing you have added to Google Maps). Some Services may offer you ways to access and remove content that has been provided to that Service. Also, in some of our Services, there are terms or settings that narrow the scope of our use of the content submitted in those Services. Make sure you have the necessary rights to grant us this license for any content that you submit to our Services.
You can find more information about how Google uses and stores content in the privacy policy or additional terms for particular Services. If you submit feedback or suggestions about our Services, we may use your feedback or suggestions without obligation to you.

Anyone check this lately? When I google madcapmagishion, then images, I still find a few of my photos. When you click on them, they link to Nikonites.

I just checked again and found four or five. When I checked before on other sites he would explain where and when he took the photo. Some of them still have the EXIF data on them stating my copyright information. He is a real jack@#$%.

I checked some of his before that point to this site and they were just pictures that he "Liked" and that is why they show up when you search his name. He did outright steal many though. What is a link where one of yours is?

This is one of my photos that was taken near my home. I didn't go through the trouble to locate any of my pictures on different sites but these are supposed to be his photos.

madcapmagishion pictures - Bing Images

This is another picture of mine and he was dumb enoough to leave the EXIF data on the picture to prove it is mine.

I read this thread and felt the need to reply but cant find the right words to show my support for you guys that have had your work stolen.
Until it happens to someone they will not fully understand the depth of your anger, upset or disappointment, I just hope it can all be resolved to your satisfaction and you keep posting pictures,it will be a sad day if the only pictures posted are the ones not worth stealing.
As for the guilty party its no use trying to work out why some one would do such a thing, he is probably a sad lonely looser that can only function in the world of make believe.

Right, as Don stated, he just liked them on here: http://nikonites.com/project-365-daily-photos/6629-grandpaws-image-thread-33.html I did a quick search on both of those images and couldn't find them elsewhere on the internet.

I think this is the same reason. He liked it .

I would bet if you searched Carolina Photo Guy or Phillydog1978 the same photo would pop up under their name.

Like this Phillydog1958 - Bing Images

Sorry, I posted before I read jdeg response but I did add a little to the answer.

Let's face it. The guy has a mental disability. He's definitely a whacko with a deep need for approval. If he stole your photo(s), take it as a compliment. He's sick, and needs help. I'd be happy to rearrange his nose, if that would help.

Again, this points back to this site and on that page he liked the site. Rick M, madcapmagishion and El Tranquilo like this.

Don't think you need to do that ted! Cos he was a member here and he liked your post, the search engine pulls it up.. That'll be the case for any member and any photo that has been liked...

The bottom line is if you post photos on the internet without any security associated with their posted location, as in this site, you can expect them to be 'used' by others. It is not right but it is a consequence of sharing your images. I see no point getting upset about it. The only action you can really take is not to ever share your images.

Life's too short to worry about idiots on the internet.

It seems like this topic crops up on a regular basis and the conclusion always seems to be the same - do not post if you're concerned about the misuse of your photos. I also have a FaceBook page where I post my images and many of them have been "shared" by newspapers and magazines, real estate agencies as well as private users. It's a real balance between the added exposure vs. that ill feeling of watching my images as they're spread all across the internet. What is more disconcerting is when you see the number of "shares" is X but you can only see Y of them because many of those sharing your images have their privacy levels set so that I, the owner of the image, cannot even see who they are let alone what they're doing with it. But the key really is - low resolution images and always have a watermark. On the positive side, it's provided me with interested buyers who otherwise would not have seen my images, so I think it's a trade off worth continuing....at least for now.
