Day 40 - Feb 9, 2013... Continued...
Here is a few more from today...
1st 2 were out back about 10:30am...
This was about 4:30pm... The dogs looking at
the hole and refusing to go out in that!!
(I have to clear the deck next)
Anyway... done for today... Enjoy!

I remember back in the 60's that it snowed here and it was a regular blizzard. I think we had 5 or 6 inches of snow and it shut down everything.
My husband says people have become winter weenies. It's not like most people are going to get snowed in for days, but they act like it.

Day 41 - Feb 10, 2013
I took a short drive earlier today to see what I could see in the snow...
These 2 were at my house as I was leaving, out the back door and at the drift
in my driveway....
Due to the winds, most tree's were bare but I spotted these as
I drove North and pulled over to capture them.
Enjoy... got a few more I will put up in another post....

The "worst" ever. I was snowed in for 2 days, usually just a day or part day...... I am much more concerned about power loss, I have been without power as long as 7 days in the dead of winter... Not fun...

I continued heading North and there were very few places to pull over. I pulled in at Wilson's Farm (closed) to see what I could find there.
I spotted some wind textures and too these 2 shots...
I shot a few pictures but either not that good or I could not get off
the road when I needed to. Pulled in at a country club and shot these
2 pictures. There are separate shots, not just crops of the same.
The fence was near the entrance and the 2nd shot was some
additional textureing due to the wind.
I hope some find these enjoyable... I liked them and enjoyed taking them...

Another weather day... snowing this morning... maybe 2 inches.... then sleet.. and when I got out of work freezing rain..
I just grabbed a couple inductrial shots...
Below is a toolmakers Microscope...
Row of auxilliary equipment.. dryers, loaders...
Tool in for Maintenance...
Driveway is about a 1" thick block of ice!!! Not a pretty picture...

Strange day.. it was warmer but started off with rain, then it cleared some and later it looked like it was going to storm. These are the result of that! :distracted:

Thanks Jeff... That was my favorite too. It was around 2pm an dthe lighting was really nice. This house is in the Horseshoe Pond area where I have taken many other photo's. It never caught my eye before today.

Today was actually nice, sunny, blue skies 44 deg F
I could not get close enough to get a better shot... Lately though, we don't even see birds.. (even deep in the trees)
On the left, Horseshoe Pont, on the right, a wooded section
south west of where I work.
These were both taken out to that wooded section...
Snow is melting well... Hope you all have fun...
