Great houses. The red one is my favorite, a little Munsters/Addams familyish.
Get better!

Day 37 - Feb 6, 2013
Ok, apologies for
1. Only one pic
2. Not such a great one..
Being still severely under the weather, staying home from work... and medicated... I am not venturing out. I grabbed an indoor still image for today.
Notice, in spite of my cat comments and posting dogs, notice this has cats!

pat,
You have been forgiven.I am a cat person who also owns one dog and feel very sorry for the dog because the cats often are not nice to her.
Hope you feel better soon.
Good to hear you are on the mend. Being sick is a big waste of time. Thanks Barb... we used to have cats years ago... now just dogs! Feeling better, almost human!

That house in Nashua sure looks familiar!!
How's the snowpocalypse doing?
I miss living out there.
We lived on Clay St in Manchester. My wife was recruited by the Elliot Hospital to help start a Heart Catheterization Lab. We closed on our house on Halloween with no snow on the ground, when we woke up the next morning there was something like nine thousand feet of snow. Figured it was our welcome to NH present! LOL
The house itself is ancient. The official paperwork says, "Year built - unknown 1820?" The walls have horse hair plaster, signs of knob and tube wiring and other such old things like that, and contains a resident ghost that hung out in the dining room and living room for the first year we were there. The dogs would freak out for no apparent reason, our 4 year old could be found carrying on a conversation with "the lady" and both my wife and I have seen it in our periphery vision multiple times. I finally asked it if it could please stop freaking the dogs out in the middle of the night. It wasn't seen again for awhile until I saw it up in the walk-up attic. I said, "Thank You", and it was never seen downstairs again, the dogs quit freaking out, and our little one never talked to "the lady" again. We did see it multiple times in the attic since then, and I always said Thank You to her. Kinda weird, but that's how it was.
Day 39 - Feb 8, 2013
The Nor'easter is scheduled to arrive this afternoon... I wanted to have a
couple shots for my daily so I grabbed these (Sample Retain Room) of our
samples of past production runs..

We ended up shuting down production at 2:30 to get people home. The
storm was just starting, blowing snow and limited visibilty. These are shots through
the truck windshield on my way home.

Anyway... have a great day, those in the storm, I wish you you safe travels!

As much as I know it is dangerous to take pictures while driving, I, for one, really like to do it once in a while. It adds a little drama to taking snapshots, and, you don't really know how it will turn out until you get home to view them.
Very Interesting! So how long have you been gone from the area? I live in Hudson and work in Merrimack...

Is that DW Hwy? That was my main route to work in Nashua if I wasn't running late. If I was, it was the tollroad for me.
Speaking of toll roads, do they still take those tokens? I have a roll around here somewhere... I think they were putting the ez-pass system in when we were leaving. We still have our ez-passes from Mass, and still use 'em out here in Ohio!
