Thanks Misti that is a very appreciated compliment. Shooting people is fascinating, it forces you to really look at them, quickly get a sense of who they are and then find that moment where they expose who they are through their expression and pray you have it in focus

There was a spot I went to the other day and I was leaning against a wall and shooting people as they walked towards me just past a crosswalk. They were so close and right in my lens as they walked by and as I was shooting them that they could touch me as they walked by. No one seemed upset, a couple people stopped and talked to me. A couple wanted to see the pics of them, I felt like I was really in the environment and within the scene and part of the scene. Very different than shooting at 300mm and giving more space between me and the people I shoot.
