It's just one of those known things here in SoCal once it gets warmer. The snakes come out. If your smart and careful your okay. Just don't piss them off ;) and give them a wide berth. Hike early before it gets too hot helps too.

Very nice catch for day 101 Rick. Seems you're getting closer and closer. I like all 3. Great selection of persons and great shots.

Just depends on the day and where I can stand for how tight I shoot. This day I just wanted to be right in the crowd. Thanks for the compliments!

Hey have you ever taken a picture of someone that was famous and not know it? LOL With your pictures, you could make someone famous. ;-D

Ha! Rick the first guy in 104 looks like he'd be into music and the second one looks like he'd be into Nascar. Too funny!

Back to nature - It seems things look very different depending upon the direction you look...

From today's hike:

Looking to the right - the golf course and city of Burbank, CA

Looking to the left - the San Gabriel Mountains with snow in April in SoCal (very unusual)

Looking down - spring flower :)

Thanks it's a great hike. See deer, bunnies, coyotes up there. Once my GF saw a bobcat and got great pics on her iPhone of it. Beautiful spot feels like you can hike for days if you wanted to the trails just keep going.....
