I really love your B&W treatment Rick. Great shots. Seems you're getting closer and closer to your subjects. Keep them coming!

Thanks Marcel. As I go back to familiar locations I am getting closer to the people as you say. There are a few spots where I just know I have a lot of people with many of the same familiar faces (people who work in the area) and new faces (local workers I have not seen, tourists and local visitors). My Project 365 has morphed into Project 365/Street Portrait Project. With that narrow focus I'm really trying to refine my abilities to find interesting people at interesting moments, get consistent quality in exposure, framing and PP.

With the kind of shots you are doing, you're good shots are great. You just can't expect to get over 50% great shots (exposure and focus).

If the sun is out or the conditions stables, I might suggest you go manual with the exposure, do a few tests and from then on just stick to what's good and concentrate on focus and expression only.

I admire your perseverance and like the results you're getting. Just keep at it and try manual exposure for a while. Let us know how it turns out.

It's the same with my shots Rick, you only get to see the ones that are OK. Specially with macro, I only get about 3% keepers. But rejoice, digital film is FREE.
