Aw, that's a good shot. I like that you can see his eyes and not the glowing reflection from a flash. He looks like a good dog. I also like the detail in his white fur under his head.

"Pineapple and Friends"

Okay, getting a little desparate in terms of creativity tonight . . . bought a pineapple yesterday because I thought it might make an interesting subject. I think the shot looked better "in my head" . . . sigh . . . but I took the opportunity to play with the SU-800 and 2 SB-900's. So nice to be free to move around without being "tied" to any flashes and being able to quickly control the light output from the camera. I've got to admit, I'm really liking Nikon's Creative Lighting System (I know I sound like a commercial!)

Anybody know of a quick and easy way to peel a pineapple?

I now have to eat all this fruit before it goes bad LOL . . . such a chore LOL

"Leaving School"

Thought I would do a little "photojournalism" since I was at the mid-school today.
7th graders leaving school at the end of the day. Need I say more? (except that no one was hurt in the making of this image! LOL)
