They should be, but as long as some people will not stop feeding them during the winter, I guess some are lazy enough not to fly south. Maybe they don't understand english and want to stay in the French part of North America.

We can never despair with weather. It can change quite fast. And it did just while I went out for groceries, so when I came back, the river was just desperately waiting to be HDRed.

I made two versions, first one

Second with a little "oil painting" filter that I masked here and there:

Here's another that was not HDRed. Just RAW processed with the "oil painting" effect again. I kind of like this but am afraid I might be using it too much...

I do like the oil painting effect (what did you use for that) but actually I prefer the version without...

From colorful to B&W, this probably has to do with my present mood. I felt like doing a snapshot like I did with old film cameras. One second exposure without mono or tripod will get you that look every time.

I'm still under the weather as far as the flu is concerned. Better days to come.
