Got really cold last night and the trees near the river got frosted.

Jan 9th.

I had to drive to a customer and the river I was following was just too nice not to be photographed. The fog had just begun lifting. I couldn't get wide enough so I took 4 vertical shots that I later merged in CS6

I love "bird on a wire" photos. I plan on getting a few "bird on street lamps" but I'm always driving when I see the good photos.

Jan 11th. Just had a bit of time to catch this tonight. Hand held with the 600 and 55 1.2 @iso 2000.

Raining and the nice white snow is turning to mush. So it's inside pics. Got my 55 1.2 on the D600 and wanted to try backlit scene. I noticed that the closer the objects are, the narrower is the DOF.
