I just did an entry for my Facebook group "Lumières Abstraites" (abstract light). The picture had to be of a camera. I used the reflexion from my X-10 lcd to get the group's page on my computer monitor.

When flipped horizontally, I get this:

Not taken today, but about 5 years ago with the D90. I was just working at getting familiar with the gradient filter in PS. And since our weather is not great for outdoor pics, PS tutorials is a great way to keep busy.

I'm surfing on this post processing technique of juxtaposing the same image twice. Sometimes I see things that are really interesting come out of the combined images. In this case, human shaped face comes out strong.

Just a peak of our weather for you south of the border people. It will change from my digital experiments. :)

I see a bear sitting on an ice cream cone reading a newspaper. ;) However, your mileage may vary.

Daily shots: Daffodils with a zoom blur effect, and 2 cat pictures with a very different expression.

I drove around a bit and got to this barn I've spotting for a while. It seems I was never there at the right time. But this time was different, the horses were outside and the light was good.

And then the owner showed up and asked me if I wanted to have a look inside. I cranked up my Df to 3200 and put the Rokinon 14 2.8 on it and in I went. It was so dark that focusing was impossible so I relied on the focusing marks on the Rokinon. All hand held shots. I hope you enjoy.

Very nice. I think the low lighting makes these images.

Nice shots of the barn, inside and out, as well as that old FarmAll. Brings back memories of going to see my Grandparents at Christmas in Wisconsin. The only difference is when we were kids the hay bails were square bails and one of the horses was a gray...

Really nice shots Marcel. Thanks for sharing.

HDR from a single shot and a touch of Oil paint filter makes this portrait more dramatic.

I just had about 10 minutes to spare before a meeting tonight and got these canned in at our municipal nursery.
