    Repair, or replace it?

I've been re-thinking autofocus since I started shooting a Z7ii... Focus Peaking is the schnozzle...I find my 1960s 50mm 1.2 AI lens lives on my Z... I do understand your concern. Looking around, for that genre of lens, the price point differences between your <$500 and higher priced lenses...

In the old days, we used to carry a little notebook that was customized to receive film exposure data. And you can still find the forms on the internet to download and use. I use an app called PhotoEXIF on my iphone. You manually setup your camera and then can manually enter the necessary...

Suggestions for using the Diopter (d5500)

The diopter is for you to see the letters/numbers inside the viewfinder only. It doesn't affect the images you take. First decision is, are you going to take pictures with your eyeglasses ON or OFF? Then you simply adjust the diopter until the numbers in the viewfinder are clear.

    Best of the D7100

Just a point of interest, the EXIF data for that image says it was taken with a D3000, NOT a D7100

    Flash for macro work

Not often, always... :) Take your flash off auto too... and use manual... Set your aperture, then control the exposure by adjusting the speedlight's output in manual mode... If you're shooting moving bees and stuff, explore using high-speed sync... Then using manual mode on the flash, the...

    Service advisory

Well...It arrived... According to the paperwork.... They fundamentally replaced and rebuilt this entire camera...replacing the shutter mechanisms, front body and the auto-focus unit and ALL the rubber and then recalibrated and cleaned everything.

    Service advisory

It's currently "out for delivery" with UPS, so I don't know what they actually did at this point. I always thought my D750 sounded 'different" that any other of my Nikon's shutters... It was always a dull thunk, instead of the nice kachink that my D810 makes. Thanks @Danno

Best way to sell Nikon FTZ ii Mount Adapter

There are 3 places that I use... MBP Photo at MBP.com, Robert's camera in Indianapolis, and KEH... It that order... Both MBP and Robert's have consistently offered more than KEH... MBP is my preferred because they're fast, reliable, and pay the shipping... However.... eBay will get you the most...
