    Lawrence's 365 for 2014

Ok @Vixen you asked for it and it gives me something to concentrate on and produce some good shots. I have looked at if several times but never seen the right angles. This will make me try harder.

    Lawrence's 365 for 2014

August 3rd It was a miserable day today with less than 10 meters of vision when looking out of the window. Eventually it cleared and I took some shots of great sky to confirm my sensor has dust on it. Not fun but at least I know where to from here. There was a small break in the weather and...

    Lawrence's 365 for 2014

August 2nd I'm undecided about this photo but have spent too long on deciding on the final look so here it is. I do like how the detail has come out of the rock. I've got more from different angles so will go play with those. And I can't seem to see the spots that were on my sensor - if gone...

Spots on Sensor - HELP PLEASE

I have got spots on my sensor and have no idea what they are - dust or oil. Need to click on image to get a better idea and I may have missed a few. They are definitely on the sensor as they appear regardless of which lens I am using. How do I get them off? They all seem to be the same size!

    Lawrence's 365 for 2014

1st August Hard to believe I have been doing this for 7 months. Just sneaking another two (actually one split into 2) in under the radar. or this version?

    Lawrence's 365 for 2014

July 30th I have pheasants in the area but they are very skittish and getting close is proving to be difficult - but never fear I have a plan! This afternoon I managed to get as close as I ever have and it was still a long way off. This photo was taken with my 70-300mm with a 1.4 TC maxed out...

    Lawrence's 365 for 2014

July 29th Now this was fun - inspired by Jake's work. There are thousands of old boats lying around in New Zealand and many are being lovingly restored by enthusiasts who love the old wooden era. It must be an awesome hobby to restore something like this and then see it on the water in almost...

    Lawrence's 365 for 2014

28th July This scene appealed tome as the rocks look so rugged, the grass on them obviously having had a tough life exposed to the elements as they have been, the huge tree on the left with a horizontal truck further proof of how the weather can get and then with all that going on the sea was...

    Lawrence's 365 for 2014

I've been doing a bit of post processing recently and trying stuff I haven't tried before. Nothing fantastic by way of results but it is helping me with becoming familiar with E11 and my basics are improving. Hopefully the adventurous stuff will follow. As long as I keep following Jake's stuff...

    Lawrence's 365 for 2014

July 27th I thought today would be as good as any to share some intimate stuff with you all … I feel I know you well enough. ;) Its amazing what you can find on your way back from the bathroom. "And why, Lawrence, did you have your camera with you in the bathroom?" And this...

    Lawrence's 365 for 2014

July 26th Another day with very little mojo and a missing "eye". A bit disappointing really but that's life. I took about 30 photos and they were all below average. :(

    Lawrence's 365 for 2014

July 25th The good thing about experimenting is you cannot ever fail - you simply get a result. It's not always the result you were hoping for but so what? I took some photos of a lawn mower and posted them on another thread but didn't want to use them for my 365. Hence I decided to try...

    The Lawn

The Walker ... OKAY here we go. I must warn you this little beauty is HOT! Front view Side view Access to the engine and blades is really easy. One of 8 or 9 paddocks that I mow. She's a busy little bee …..

    The Lawn

@wornish Dave I "have" the MBK23 Its not mine - I am house sitting for someone. It rides well and cuts amazingly but the best part is how easy it is to access all the working/moving parts particularly the blades.

Just so happens I put this on my photo for the day in my 365 so it is for those not following my 365 or a repeat if you are.

    Lawrence's 365 for 2014

July 24th I think it is an Iris. Not sure why I am doing all these flower shots when I have such stunning views but …. have you ever noticed that some stunning views come out "flat" as photos (or is that just my lack of skill)? I was going to leave the background foliage out but in the end...

I mowed it today. Thought you might like to know. Got a nice ride-on Walker mower to use too so it was fun.
