1st September Officially the start of Spring but you would never know it going by the weather. However that is an observation more than a complaint as summer must be out there somewhere.

28th August Today I hung my camera upside down on and under my tripod to get a worms eye view of my subject. The D5100 screen was pretty handy thank-you! And then some more time finding out what Perfect effects 8 has to offer. I am enjoying using it. One day I will try and do what Jake does...

26th August I am feeling very pleased with myself today having finally got a decent shot of a pheasant. I have been trying for months and finally this morning the opportunity presented itself. It still required a bit of stealth though.

25th August No time today for any serious photography so I used my fallback - another stunning sunset!
