Just for fun, this is a shot I never thought would turn this good. It was DARK, very dark and it was mixed lights (daylight, tungsten,+fluorescents economy type). I managed this with iso 5000, 1/15 hand held f8 and the D700. I don't think I would have gotten as sharp a shot using these settings...

Day 100, April 9th Just had time to catch this one before darkness. Another rainy cold day here in Sherbrooke. And a little practice for this week's challenge.

Another shot for today is of my nephew and my girlfriend who is showing him his Easter gift.

Day 99, April 8th Just a snapshot of a souvenir I brought back from Venice. I used my little "Maglite" to make the contrast between the lovers and the gondolier more prominent and add mood. D90 with 35-70 2.8 used in "macro" mode. manual focus.

Day 94, April 3rd Faithful customers for over 20 years

I got a chance to get a 24-70 from my local Kijiji and just could not pass up on it. I've heard so many people talk about the qualities of this lens and I only have to agree. I've only had it for 2 days but it seems to be made just for my D700. It's got something that is very hard to describe...
