    Marcel's 366__2012

Day 90, March 30th A piano person that I have known from another life. We did a few ski trips out west together (Whistler, Utah). She now has become a customer with her nice Kawai baby grand. She just had a special room made for it as an addition to her house. But sometimes I make mistakes...

Day 89th, March 29th. Still snow last night but the fluffy stuff. Couldn't help but try to use it. Unfortunately, I didn't check my settings BEFORE going out and the person that cleaned my sensor yesterday had set me up with jpegs only. So I didn't get as much controls on the whites as I would...

    Just Messing Around!

Another done with nothing but a landscape. The tripod was in the car but I wanted to have out of focus soft old time image, so I was standing and held the camera for the whole exposure. It has character.

Day 88, March 28th Summer's not here yet. After last week's hot spell, the snow decided to come back to p**s us off. :mad-new: So my pic of the day will reflect how I feel about this. Hopefully, my mood will improve with the better weather to come.

Day 87th, March 27th Catkins again but this time with the sunlight. They seems to be a little sharper… Jpegs straight out with a bit of unsharp mask to compensate for the size reduction and a little saturation boost.

Day 85, March 25th It was raining most of the day, cold and damp. I decided to get the camera out around 5pm and toured around my girlfriend's backyard. I had the D7000 at iso 3200 with the sigma macro 105 2,8 @f8 on A mode. I think I did good.

Still day 83, I've revisited my tiny grass in my backyard. These are tough to photograph. I had to use the sigma at minimum distance + 12mm extension tube. The DOF is almost none at that distance. But I make it look like art LOL. Maybe nice colors for some Easter cards… Anyhow:

Day 82, March 22nd 2012 First my first star shot that I took last night: And 2 shots I did today since my customer (the one I was hoping for my today's pic) was painting and didn't want to be seen publicly like that:

Caught these tiny little grass growing tonight. There are so tiny that I had problem getting them properly. I ended up with this shot.
