December 16th, cold and sunny afternoon

December 14th. Our cat was very attentive to birds that were playing around close to the window. The sunlight was very bright but gave me extra sharpness. D700, 55 1.2 AIS @ around f8, iso 250 This is a 100% crop of the above. This is a sharp lens.

December 13th, friday the 13th... It was so cold that I didn't even want to take the time to do the 5 HDR exposures. -17 degree celcius, that is -2 F. The river freezes and thaws depending on the temperature:

December 12th, piano persons taken with D700 with 55 1.2 AI, iso 1250, 1/160 f2.8 This lens is really sharp. It always amazes me when I use it correctly and take the time to focus it properly. Thanks for the focusing screen replacement.

This night shot looked horrible in colour since the sodium vapour street lights are so hard to neutralize. So, B&W brought back the exact feeling of just being there in the dark cold night.
