Sept 17th was a foggy morning that came with first frost… Fall in on it's way.

Sept 16th was a rainy day here for the most part. Took the camera out just around 6:30pm to do a few leaves shots backlit. Converted to B&W here's a straight and a filtered one: ​

Two more for today and then the camera goes right back in the bag :) ​

Sept 15th from our morning walk we got to a local market fair promoting regional produce. All shots with D600 and 24-120 f4 VRII

Sept 14th, my niece's 6th birthday got me to use my D600 @ iso 10,000. Amazing what I could get. Not perfect and a little soft with noise reduction, but the images are still nice to look at. Better than not having any or blurred shots. I left the colour balance intentionally warm.

I prefer the colour of the second shot but the contrast a little too much for my taste. The eyes have become a little too dark in the second shot. They could probably be dodged to brighten them quite a bit. Like this (hope you won't mind my showing what I mean)
