Sept 29th, sitting on the porch enjoying the backyard and this guy slowly walks through, barely noticing us. Finally went to hide but I was able to capture a few shots, most of them a little on the blurry side. It sure doesn't look healthy to me. ​

Maybe the umbrella was a little too close but it's still a great picture. Workable file even if you start with the jpeg that you uploaded. Here's my take of one of them. Don't be afraid of B&W, it can make a picture better.

Sept 23rd, a cloudy day is sometimes better than too much sun for landscape, specially in the fall with the golden colours. Here's a capture I did this morning after my last tuning service call:

I like the composition of the apple counter photo, but the colour temperature and post processing could really help that picture. I know that you're just beginning, but I just wanted to show you how 30 seconds of post processing could do to your image. I hope you don't mind my example.
