I can vouch for the Nikon 24-120 f4. I've gotten spectacular results with this lens. Here's one example:

Nov 3rd, more river shots but in Sherbrooke this time. All done with D700 and 35 AIS f2 manual focus in manual settings.

Few more HDRs from this afternoon stop by the river:

November 1st, temperature is high for this time, but wind is picking up strong. As I was coming to Line's place, I had to stop by the river for this HDR shot. I will re-process later as I find I have problems with some waves ghosting. But I was happy with the overall feeling.

October 31st piano person of the day, let's call her A-B, was my piano teacher when I started working in the piano field with my dad. She and her husband have since become very good friends.
