    This is an osprey nest that an owl decided to make it's home. This was taken from several hundred feet away while in the tour boat. We almost didn't see it because the only thing visible was the top of it's head.

    Red Tail Hawk shot taken from a boat at 600mm on DX camera, handheld. It was tough getting that single focus point on just his face while moving in the boat.

    This is an owl that has taken over a ospreys nest and claimed it for itself. I am several hundred feet away shooting at 600mm on my DX camera, handheld and I am in a moving boat, which made this shot very challenging.

    Shooting at 600mm with a DX camera adding the 1.5 crop factor in a boat that is moving is a real challenge. I think this is a red shouldered hawk
