Picking where to shoot an air show successfully is like finding were to get a store to start a business..... LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!!!! I learned a lot about where to be and what settings to use and not use on my camera this weekend. I will be much more informed for the next time!!!

This was my first air show and I learned a lot of things that you need to do and several things NOT to do. I think next time my pictures will be a lot better and my keeper rate much higher.

First air show and I was about two miles away from the action. I only got just a very few keepers out of the bunch. Where I was shooting from, they were on me before I knew they were coming.

This was a bit of a stretch even for the Tamzook. this was taken at a distance of about 600ft and cropped heavily. It was a small dot in the distance.
