Went out today and managed to get this shot. I only had one chance as this eagle passed way above my head just once. D7000 with Tamron shot at 600mm handheld.

Shot this today while looking for some white pelicans which I never found. Shot with my D7000 and the Tamron 150-600mm at 600mm with a serious crop. I'm guessing the distance of around 600feet away.

I was driving down the road that goes along our beach in town and spotted this Blue Heron having lunch. I pulled over and shot this out of the window of my car across the road and across the beach to this guy having lunch in the water at the edge of the beach. Shot handheld at 600mm on my D7000...
