I suspect that there is a veritable tidal wave of D600 bodies hitting repair centers, so all reasonable estimates are thrown out the window. They may be willing to fix them, but they're not hiring temporary help to get through the pile. Think of it like the increase UPS sees after Thanksgiving, but without the extra crews to handle it. I'm guessing repair times run 3-4X normal for anyone who didn't get in right away. And hopefully they have enough replacement shutters - my D600 got processed in 2 days both times it went in, and then I waited 3 weeks each time for parts.
