Green spider

A little challenging when shooting macro on a windy day. It's a hit or miss. I had to shoot consecutive shots in hope to get a sharper image.

D800E in DX mode, Nikon 105mm f2.8 VR + 1.4x TC (~150mm) = 220mm, f10, 1/60, VR On, ISO 200, no flash

Marilynne... love your dragonflys.. I have not been able to get that close yet... Think I need to park a chair in the marsh and wait for them..


Glenn, never seen a green spider like that, nice job!! I may have to look at a TC for my Sigma 105.. :)

Not a bad idea to extend your working distance especially when working with insects. Bees are much more tolerable and they don't normally get annoyed by the lens. Other critters are too sensitive.
