I am going to perpetuate that stereotype of ignorant southerners, but you gets what you pays for!

Iddy Biddy Bug.jpg

This is "A Iddy Biddy Bug"

Taken with my Nikon P310 on manual everything.

The only thing I got right was the focus! Me and Aperture came to agreement on this iteration.

Enjoy

Hello there!

I just realized that all the details are, for me, easier to appreciate if I turn the
photo a quater turn clockwise.

In the scene, the soft light and the position and direction of the flower give
the rotation a very efficient view on your admiral!

Very cool!

Thanks Kodiak. I was using my 3100 the last few days. When I went back to my 300s, I found that it has sharper images. Not sure why. So, sticking with the 300s for macro.

A couple of shots from yesterday. I'm not sure what kind it is but it might be related to the fly insect.

Hi Glen,

I may not know their scientific name (not even their common one), all I can say is
that they must be very dangerous! Have you seen the sharpness? …must be very dangerous!

Well done!
