I'm not sure I get your question right Jack, but I'll try to answer. The original crop #115 was just resized smaller than the picture I originally posted (the cropped version). I usually resize all my images to 1200 x 1200 pixels @72 dpi, this makes my uploaded files to be anywhere between 700 KB to 1.6 MB depending on the details and colors.

Does this answer your question Jack?

Ah, Now I see.......you started with a bigger picture to begin with, cropped it, then resized it back to its original size, maiking it look like it's a closeup of the same picture. Nice. :) Why didn't I think of that! lol :) Thanks, Marcel.

Jack, in photoshop....if you crop something down, and save it, re-open it, its automatically the same dimensions/aspect ratio as the original...just the image is now "zoomed in" on what was cropped.....you don't have to resize anything....Im not sure if this is a setting or just how PS works.
I only shoot in RAW, so I wonder if that has anything to do with it...cropping a RAW and saving as a JPG. I don't really know.

I know its simple, but I like the broom the best. I am curious as to what caught your eye to the broom? When you look at it vertically you don't get the same effect. Anyway, I like it!

Wow! I like them all! The first for the colors, the second for the character in the old window pane and the third for the composition and clarity.

Originally shot vertical, it was my first feeling that got me to rotate it to horizontal. I found it kept the eyes in the picture better this way.
Thanks for the comments.

I really like the first one. Great colors nicely muted . . . has an Impressionistic feel to it.

I find the broom interesting. Nice contrast.

Great job, Marcel!

Thanks Helene, the first one is my preferred one too. It's amazing what a half hour spent at the local greenhouse can bring out.

Here is the weather for the day. Rain and fog. So rain and fog it is.

Very nice, Marcel! I really like the composition and the different textures. I agree with Pete . . . worth looking at in BW, too.

Just a very quick picture for today. Went in the woods for a walk but no time to process.

I like the peeling paint, cool. I also like the fog and agree with Pete that it would be nice to see in BW.
