I think this is a very sweet shot Jake. It has quite a lot of mood in it and is very soft and intimate at the same time. Have you tried without the branches on top?

I agree. It frames the geese more.I prefer the original with the branches!
Woke up this morning to an extremely light dusting of very crystalline snow on the deck.
Note to self: This snowflake photography thing isn't as easy as it looks.
To do it right I'm going to need some extension tubes (this is a rather extreme crop), more patience and a much better pair of gloves. LOL

Thanks, @hark. Bokeh is enhanced in post with Color Efex. The Sigma 105mm has nice bokeh, but the detail extraction necessary to make the crystals pop tends to mess with it too much, so you have to put some back.
