Shutter failure on my D750 this morning.

I hope so. If they can fix it by the middle of this week and send it out, then there is a good chance.
When my D600 was sent in for repair to Nikon, it didn't require a signature any of the times. However, when I ordered my Nikon bodies new from dealers, those generally did require one.

I got my 7200 directly from Nikon. Not sure why they would handle things differently.

Hey @Blacktop did you hear about the shutter problem with the D750? I'll have to check my serial number to see if mine is affected.

I just checked mine and it has to go back to Nikon. I have never had any problems but I guess they will replace the shutter anyway.

I haven't forgotten the fiasco I had with my D600. I received a refund for that. My one year warranty is up in mid-May so I may wait until closer to that time.
Didn't hear about it, but I'm not surprised. There is another poster here that is having the same problems I had. I don't remember where that post is.
