Nice village corner shot, the eggs… maybe motion blurred a little but a nice reminder of spring to come. It is supposed to get in the 70s up here this weekend.:eek:nthego:

Just kidding . . . there's only one egg that's in focus. The rest are out of the DOF. I'm still experimenting with this . . . these shiny, multicolored eggs are kind of hard to put into a composition with any focal point and even though I didn't use flash, the shine off the egg surfaces is still distracting. I need to try a different lens and regroup them, so I'm still at the drawing board with this one.

awww thanks, Helene. I didn't want you to think I was being critical. It was just something I couldn't quite see right, and that bugs me. :) I'm thinking, maybe to get rid of the shiny spots, to use a diffuser in front of the light you're using.such as what is used in front of soft boxes, ya know? That just might take the "shine" off of those eggs. Did you paint those, by the way? Very intricate and beautiful, aren't they. :)

Oh, good idea about the diffuser, Jack. Thanks! I also think I was too close . . . out of focus range for the lens except the egg in the middle. BTW I never take your feedback as criticism.

Yes, I painted them.
