This evenings cloudy sunset, over the St Johns River, from Jacksonville's North Bank Riverwalk. The blue bridge is the Main Street Bridge, a vertical lift drawbridge

See how this turns out. I tried to shoot a panograph of yesterday's sunset and it keeps having some darker areas that didn't seem to stitch together right.

Usually I hate power lines too, but this was the best angle to get the sunset from where I happened to be shooting at. I went to this locatin because there's a fantastic bridge that I wanted to combine with the sunset. But the sun had moved so far south that the bridge/sun combined was no longer in play. So I just shot the sun and the powerlines.

Surprise!! Another sunset from Laura!:wink-new:
Couldn't help it. After a gray, blustery, windy day this sunset just popped out of nowhere. West of hurricane Sandy (Michigan).
