Still not a big variety here. I was getting ready to head in last night and noticed something hanging from a leaf. I thought it was a dead bug at first. With a closer shot I noticed it was a couple of bugs mating while the male was eating a fly. It was hard to focus in due to there movement and the wind.
Well, its been a very long winter followed by a busy spring catching up on projects, but I finally took a few minutes to pick up the camera and shoot some bees.
Are insects getting wise to cameras? This little guy was sitting happily, then I took a couple of shots. He then moved round a bit and sat quite still while I took another series of shots. Then he moved again to this better position and didn't move while I took the 8 photos used in this stack. Looks like he wanted his face on the front page of Nikonites.
