There's something very tranquil about this scene that captures my attention and really pulls me in!

As I was up early, I sat down and waited for about 10 minutes until the hummingbird showed up. It only stayed long enough for me to get about 3 clicks.

I guess this is what I was trying to explain. I reduce the size of all pictures I post on the internet. We have a standard size for our local photography club and we must resize all pictures to 1400x1050 at 72 dpi.

Oh, I see. So unlucky to unable to see the images in real size 1400x1050 here but can see 1000x...

We had visitors while having breakfast on the back porch. A wild turkey with her 12 (now I don't know the english word for a turkey's babies).

Last night's visitor was a bit shy to begin with. But he kind of tolerated me and my camera. But every click made him a bit more nervous. All shot from my backyard porch.

Last night deer that came to visit again. Low light. I got away with 1/80 sec. with the 200-500, I never would have thought this was possible at 500 mm... Hand held but elbows resting on my arm chair.
