Yes it is hair. My bald head (believe it or not) from in front with a green lamp behind.
I was surprised how "thick" it was. Must have been bored to do this. :eek:

Never moved outdoors today and was stuck with the dogs indoors ..

"Ah ha opportunity!"

Looked up @wud 's thread on how to shoot dogs (with a camera) to learn a few tricks.

Showed the dogs the thread but they weren't having a bar of it …

"What … chase sticks and balls - in this weather? Forget it mate we're not moving from our beds until you feed us or the rain stops, whichever comes first."

So there you have it - my subjects were like two blobs! Their fault not mine.

Thanks Ron. The first is ok as Mai said but the second not so good. Frustrating dogs to shoot because their eyes are never clearly visible so the snout becomes the focus point.
The good news is they are very well behaved.

I have been trying to get a decent photo of a Fantail for weeks and this is the last time I post one of these. They are far too frustrating and I am wearing my shutter out on them.

I woke up early to watch the football final and was rewarded by the sight of the town covered in mist or fog (can never tell the difference - I have to assume fog as my car has fog lights and no mist lights).
On the one side the fields were visible while on the other side the sea was this lovely blue.

Something different today. Just trying to show you what a beautiful country New Zealand is and what a stunning view I have from my lounge and deck and office and kitchen.
This 4 shot panorama is just part of the view I have. There is more to the left and to the right.

I hope it comes out but know it won't do the views any justice. Just come visit already!
