This pic made me laugh, Joe! Really scraping the bottom of the barrel in terms of creativity! LOL
Jen's right. It did end up being a pretty good capture. Hang in there. The point of desperation for me came at about day 18 -- I knew on that day, it was "do or die".

Since it's the weekend, and I have daylight to work with...along with snow, and a snow dog...that's what you get. This is Shelby...get used to seeing her throughout this project. She is very photogenic...and my baby. This has very little post processing. The white background is actually snow, and it was snowing when I took it. 50mm @ f/2 and 1/1000.

Took this one this morning in Lewiston, NY. This is down stream from Niagara Falls, toward the whirlpool. It was early, and so incredibly peaceful. Cold, but not even a slight breeze....The only sound was from the seagulls across the river. It was so quiet, you could hear my shutter click actually echo.

Just beautiful, Joe! Your photo definitely evokes a feeling of peace, serenity and cold. I can almost feel the crisp air!

Very nice, looks like a great place for evening/night shots of the water, walkway and the lights seeming endless.

Great shot. Did you use a CPL on this one? Love the colour of the sky.
