No photos from today, so I will post a few from the bank, I took these 2 or 3 days ago.

Thanks Lee, I'm glad you are liking my shots of my little world.

It's funny isn't it, I can get home and do a few chores noticing the wildlife all around the place, then after I have finished, I can get the camera out and walk around for a half hour and only get a couple of shots .

Rained all afternoon here, so I didn't even take the camera out of the bag. Its not looking too good for the next couple of days either, they have that cyclone tracking down parallel with the coast, so we are in for some bad weather tomorrow and Monday. :(
Get some photos of the weather :) I have been out in the sun for the afternoon taking photos at the Drag racing, I think I got some keepers :)

Spotted these 2 this afternoon not far from my house.
I increased the ISO way higher than I normally would have for these shots to achieve a higher shutter speed than I have been using, I am not happy with the amount of noise it gives me, but it has cleaned up a lot with NIK's Dfine2.

Excellent shots Brad, I need to spend some time at home to catch up lol

Thanks Scott.
I notice we both slackened off in our challenge . Life gets the front seat I guess.
We have had a lot of public holidays and a fair bit of rain in the last few weeks, public holidays means I have to work long hours as my staff have time off, and rain means I don't get out to shoot much even if I do have a spare minute.

We should be having some good weather now before the cold sets in, so hopefully I will be out and about a bit more with camera in hand.

Yeah with the weather and my spur of the moment trips to Bali ;-) but this time I will be spending atleast a whole few days at home, and then taking the dogs camping.

Been busy with too much other stuff lately, but today I grabbed the camera when I got home and went for a walk around the garden.

Loved that Wompoo Pigeon's colors!

Chris, they sure are a majestic bird, hard to capture them in their true beauty, if only I could get one of them to sit on a branch in some good light.
That one was in heavy shade, you can see the small patch of sunlight on its upper chest showing the true purple of its feathers.
One day.....
