Let these snaps above be a reminder to you that when one picks up a camera, and really just about any camera film or digital or whatever, that it is not going to be the equipment that makes the snap, it is the photographer.
With these I tried to stay what I felt was around 5 feet from my subjects and I set the distance ring on 5 feet and sort of shot. I was trying to be a little quicker on the snap. Using available light I ran into wide apertures trying to keep the shutter speed around 125. One problem was the 200 speed film indoors 400 would have helped with the aperture and DOF a whole stop. So the result is although I am improving at getting down to the subjects eyelevel I am still having problems with focus and a little bit of a problem with exposure in general and exposure for effect both.
