I played around with it on Photomatix and everything looked over-baked and/or noisy to me. It was a single jpeg shot and I just wasn't satisfied with the results. I haven't done much HDR.

Hey tranquilo . . . I really enjoy your shots you've been posting. . . Though some have been a little questionable on your cropping. . . Subject matter is intriguing though, and excellent. . . I was hoping to see some of those "more sultry" shots lol. . . Beautiful entry in last weeks challenge. . . Thanks for sharing. . .

Thanks. I've only been taking photos for several months and have a lot to learn. The inspiration and encouragement of you and others here is a real motivator. I greatly enjoyed your Endeavor shots.

It'd help me if you can give me some specific suggestions regarding cropping. I'm always looking for the little things I can do to improve my shots.

The "Model shot" was not all that sultry; they were my attempt at doing a "fashion" shot and are generally similar to the photo I entered into the challenge. I might post a couple of them one of these days.

Again, thanks for the encouragement

we're all learning boss. . . lol. some of your shots reminded me of my older shots before I joined nikonites . . . I have a bad habit of zooming in too close. with that, I was only noticing the center of my pictures and not noticing that I was cutting parts off the sides. . . I put a photo of one of my boa constrictors in the critique section and some one replied "I would have liked to see the whole snake in the picture, it doesnt seem balanced" or something to that nature . . . when I looked at it again I thought, I should have backed up or zoomed out a little more to catch the left side. . . just be mindful of the whole view in the viewfinder.. . a little space goes a long way I've learned here. . .

also I think some of your shots are a little "cockeyed". another problem I struggled with in the beginning. keeping the horizon lines straight. . .i put the grid view on in my viewfinder and it does wonders. . .

"sultry" lol. I actually had to look that word up after reading your post in the challenge. . . my vocabulary isn't too deep lol.

happy shooting. . .

again boss, if you would have moved a little to your left , you might not have caught the glare in the cabinet of the crucifix. . . and if you backed up or zoomed out a little more the tabernacle wouldnt have been cut off on the right side of the photo. . . those are my opinions and I'm no pro by all means. just things I observe lol. and there might have been constraints that prevented you from doing those things, I don't know. . .

very nice shot though. . . your pictures are very cultural and intriguing as I've said before. . . thanks again for sharing. . .
