Re: Don's Daily Dabblings

I love this one! Very cool my friend! :D

He sat there for a long time. I got 8 or 10 shots of him and even several with flash. He stayed till a duck hopped up there and ran him off. I do have another shot with 2 ducks and 2 squirrels on that deck. It is funny but the focus was a little soft.

Well this shot makes it look almost like you could reach through the screen and photo to pet the little guy! :D

A little outside my comfort zone today. I was visiting my mom today and my sister and her daughter were there also. Someone suggested I take some picture of the Great Niece and Great Nephew. Here are a few that I shot.

Outside your comfort zone? These look like you are comfortably in the zone. Nice shots!

Re: Don's Daily Dabblings

On my drive home from visiting my mom I got tired and made my wife drive. I woke up just out side of my town and saw this sky. I told my wife to pull off the road fast so I could get these shots.

Yes she thinks I am crazy.

I think these are very good and that you have found a new comfort zone. I do have one suggestion for the third photo and that is to crop the bottom off up to where the bottom of her right arm leaves the frame. Great shots!!!!

Re: Don's Daily Dabblings

Is it possible to walk out in the water? Could be fun to see this picture with the camera in level (almost) with the water.

The entire area is concrete for about 200 yards and is less than a foot deep but there is no way I would walk out there with my camera at my age. Also the only place to get in is about 300 yards away and that area is deep and the water is very fast there. But you are right, it would make a great photo.

Re: Don's Daily Dabblings

I keep talking about going to visit my mom so I thought I would post a picture of her that I shot this weekend. She has just celebrated her 87th birthday.
