Don, I think this is one of the better versions of the water that you have done. At least it is my favorite.

The area is very dark at night and there is no direct light on it as you can see by the 30 sec exposure time. And it is one of my favorites also. I really enjoy the night photography. You tend to get results that no one else does.

This is an awesome shot! Too bad the city has a highway or something trailing down full of lights though. But great shot my friend! :D

This is montgomery Alabama which is the capital. If you look to the left of the tall colored building you can see a dome. That is the capital building. The first capital of the confederacy. I shot this from my home town of Prattville
