Lookin' good. Too bad the horizon tilts all over the place.

Now to teach you to hand-catch a landing.

I haven't landed on the legs since June of last year.

re: Don's DJI Phantom 2 & 3 Fun

This video was the first or second time I flew. I can land without bouncing now. LOL

Now that I got the video easy to do I will go shot some more tomorrow. I still have to figure out the ground station and getting the compass calibrated.

i have done it a couple of times but when I went ot do it today it would always end up flashing yellow green at the end. i will have ot watch it again.

Here isn't problem. The directions show it going clockwise where the video show it going counterclockwise ImageUploadedByTapatalk1421475100.819733.jpg

[h=3]3 Waypoint Turning Mode Options[/h]There are 3 different fight routing planning modes: fixed-point turn mode, coordinated turn mode and adaptive coordinated turn mode.
Fixed-point Mode: Aircraft flies to the first fixed point accurately, stays at the fixed point and then flies to the next fixed point . The fixed points and the length of each stay also can be set in advance. Coordinated turning mode: The route of aircraft is calculated with turning speed and turning angle. The aircraft would fly from one point to another point without stopping. Adaptive coordinated turning mode: It is almost the same performance with Coordinated Turning mode. But the flight routine will be more accurately detailed with a planned flight routine in this mode.

In reading this I can not find out how to change the options. Any help?

No idea, is it really that hard???

There is supposed to be a mode where you can change how it does its turns in Ground Control Mode. 1: Stops and rotates. 2: Hard banking turn without stopping 3: Slow gentle turn which looks better for video.

#1 is the default.

And that is the question. Can't find it.

You were asking what makes a photographer. I think this might explain some of it. Someone who will do 2 hours of research just to learn how to turn a corner just to get a better video. A photographer does not settle for just ok, they got beyond what the average person does just so they can be better. A cut above. Of course I do it because I just like to have fun. (Photography and drones)

re: Don's DJI Phantom 2 & 3 Fun

First flight in Ground Control It was very strange to sit in the car and hit go and watch in start up and take off all by itself. It flew the short mission of only three waypoints and them home like it was supposed to. The only real problem was high winds. steady winds of at least 10 mph with higher gusts. The video is tilted one way for the first leg then switches to a different tilt on the other two legs. The first turn was very strange. It started the turn and the wind pushed it away so it just turned the opposite direction 270° to get where it wanted to be. The landing was not so good either. LOL. No damage though.
