    Took my baby out for a walk by the lake and shot a few birds (posted most in Bird and BIF sections). Can't get over how much cropping I can get away with using this lens on my D610 Caught this same bird in flight. Female Red Winged Blackbird ( I think).

    A sandpiper - not sure which one. Any suggestions? Kevin identified this one as a Willet, Checked in "Birds of Alberta" and it could be, we'd be above the northern edge of their typical range but I concur - a Willet it is.

    Common Grackle I picked up a D90 as part of a package that included a 70-200 F2.8. Took the D90 out for a walk to see how it performs. These were shot with a Tamron 70-300 Not bad, not bad at all for a camera many would call 'dated'.

    Lens Info in EXIF

    I've noticed that sometimes the lens is listed in the EXIF data when you mouse over an image and sometimes it is not. it is not on my images. Is that something I can control?
