I can, and often do, sit and watch Great Blue Herons for hours. There was an eagle sitting above, and I think he was keeping an eye on it. :)

I like the pose in #2 and might try a different crop. Eye contact in #4 is great, though and the far away gaze in #5 is nice, as well. LOL. I dunno' :)

Migratory ducks, like this handsome Gadwall drake, are back in town as the autumn leaves provide colorful reflections in the water. I took these shots this morning in a little pond near our house. If you have a favorite of the three different backgrounds, lemme' know :)
