Donald, I think you should spend just a little more time BEFORE you post your images. The least you could do is to straighten the horizon so the lakes don't flow out to the right in this case. Leveling and cropping is basic and i think your pictures would greatly be improved if you'd only take...

Seems I must be getting old. I'm sometimes taking pictures of my dinner :). But, it's still photography. I did notice that the depth of field is NOT very deep with the 120 at F-4.

March 27th, piano person for today. Not that great of a picture cause I was a little slow with the shutter speed and she kept closing her eyes, but look at that piano. A very finest example of book matched veneer on this Canadian made piano.

Pano done with D600 24-120 vertical shots stitched in photoshop cc Same done with Fuji X10 (straight out of cam jpeg, slightly color corrected) Seems the Fuji has some artifacts in the upper diagonals, but a lot less work. Very useful when quality is not the main factor.

March 20th, it's been a while and it's still winter up here. So this morning, after nagging about the snow on the car I took my D7000, 105 macro with 32mm extension tube and tried to get some snowflakes. Just hard to do with the wind and the monopod. But I got this one that's barely kind of OK.

For me it's this one taken with D600 and 14-24 2.8.
