I did a few abstract shots today as I was looking to build up a folder of textures that I will later use with other shots to create the analog look of old pictures. But what I got was kind of interesting, abstract, but nice. Most are close-ups of the salt and dirt on my car and one in the window.

Feb 25th. Just got my new focusing screen for my D600 and tried manual focus to check things out with my Sigma 105. Looks good. First is a small part of the kind of hologram printed in our 5$ bill (the bill was folded and curved) and second is just a corner of the same bill.

Feb 24th. The snow is actually melting away. Not today, but the process has started and the days are getting longer. I'm glad winter will soon end.
