What focus mode are you using? Also, what lenses? The D7100 is a pretty good camera for focusing with accuracy and speed. Newer cameras may well be able to do better in low light, though.

Flying past at warp factor 4

My wife running in the 70-79 division of the National 5K Cross Country Championships. Her team got first place.

A couple more Wood Ducks flying up into Oak trees. Fun to watch! :)

"Just" a White-crowned Sparrow :)

Young ducks that haven't attained adulthood can be hard to identify, but this one is almost surely a female because of the dark eyes rather than red. Ducklings get their red eyes a couple of months after birth. In a few months this one will be a truly beautiful adult female. :)
