Big gator that came up to me and wanted his picture taken today!

Great Egret that just took off, flying away from me.

I was surprised by this Egret and only had about one to two seconds to aim and shoot. On top of that I was hand holding my D600 with my Nikon 70-200VR lens with a 20E III 2X teleconverter added on. I was really lucky.

I shot this a few minutes ago with my D600, Nikon 70-200VR and Nikon 20E III 2X teleconverter. This was shot using a rail on a walkway as support and the subject was about 8ft away at the equivalent of 400mm.
