I went out today with my Nikon D600, Nikon 70-200mm F2.8 lens and a Nikon TC-20E III AF-S 2X Teleconverter on it and took this picture . Then I cropped out the second picture from the original. Just thought I would let you see how well it held up. Original picture This is cropped from...

There are two Egrets that look a lot alike so I am posting this picture so you can compare the two. The bird in this post is a Great Egret and has a orange bill and black feet whereas the one in the previous post is a Snowy White Egret and has a black bill and orange feet and is a little...

I just noticed that I had taken a picture just before the picture in post #1439 of him spotting dinner. I just thought that I would add that each of these latest pictures are cropped very much and you are only seeing a small portion of the actual picture due to how far out in the water these...

I like this shot better than the last one. This is the same Osprey, just on a different pole with a different pose.

This is something that I spotted and liked. It's nothing that will win any prizes and it is very different for me but I thought I would show you I can take something a little off the wall.

I was driving down a two lane road when I spotted these yellow flowers on the opposite side of the road so I swung over there , rolled down my window and shot this with my D600 using my Nikon 70-200 VR F2.8 lens to get a quick snap before some traffic came and I had to move.

Blue moon tonight! That is where there are two full moons in the same month. This is my attempt at photographing it. The results would have been better if I hadn't been lazy and got my tripod out but I just didn't want to mess with it.

This is a picture of our two lane fishing pier that you can drive out on. It is over a mile long and if you look close you can see a part that sticks out from the pier and that is a turn around that is the half way mark of the pier. It parallels the four lane bridge over to the right hand side...

I managed to get a picture of a visitor from up North today. This is a good example of why I shoot almost 100% with single point focus. The single point focused on the bird and the foreground and background are out of focus.
