And you certainly did an excellent job getting it. Great capture. I just love Herons and Egrets. I could watch them and photograph them for hours on end.
I have been posting some shots that were done with my D600 at ISO H2 or 25,600 over in the D600 thread and can be seen HERE. I thought I would post one here for you to see. This was taken at 9:48PM as I drove by this McDonald's doing 45 MPH I grabbed my camera and pointed it out my drivers side open window. Shot at ISO 25,600 using my D600 and Tamron 24-70 F2.8 lens. I managed to frame it up pretty good for not looking.

Beautiful photo Jeff almost like an oil painting I love it.

Nice Shot Jeff! I like the tree (or bush) in the foreground.
