This is another picture from The Lion King performance and was also shot with my D90 and 70-300VR lens at ISO 1600. I was about 70ft away. To get some idea how big the lion was, you can compare it to one of the dancers that is in the lower right corner of the image.

I haven't been able to get out to take pictures lately so I looked back at some pictures from the past and found this one that was taken with my D90 and 70-300VR lens at ISO 1600 shot handheld.
